Reservation Terms and Conditions
Reservations
Reservations can be made up to 4 days prior to commencement of your proposed rental. KEA Campers however are very popular and reservations should be made well in advance, especially for the summer season from October to March. We strongly recommend to secure your booking at least 6 months prior to departure.
Please fill in the Blue Travel Reservation Request (Standard Form | Secure Form) including the first eight (8) digits of your credit card number.
Blue Travel prefers reservations via the Internet. But you may also print out the reservation form and fax it to one of our worldwide offices:

Our Reservations staff will respond promptly to your enquiries and provide booking confirmations within 72 hours. The answer includes your reservation file number and the total amount due.
The reservation becomes final as soon as we receive the missing digits of your credit card number. If you fail to submit full credit card details within 72 hours after we sent your confirmation, we may cancel your reservation at any time.
TopPayment
KEA Campers accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Diners Club. A 20% deposit is required at the time of reservation to guarantee the booking.
The remainder has to be paid at least 30 days in advance. If there are less than 30 days between your reservation and the commencement of your rental, the total amount (rental charges and other prepaid items) is due at the time of reservation.
Any credit card payment which cannot be authorized for any reason may result in a cancellation of the booking.
Change of Existing Reservations
If you need to change an existing reservation please send an e-mail to Blue Travel as soon as possible.
Any change requiring an amended confirmation is subject to a NZD 50 service fee.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel an existing reservation please send an e-mail to Blue Travel as soon as possible.
You may also cancel your reservation by sending a fax to one of our worldwide offices:

Any cancellation will be reconfirmed in writing (fax, letter, e-mail) through Blue Travel. This reconfirmation will include the date and time we have received the cancellation and the fees involved. Your credit card will be used to both debit or credit the final amounts.
Cancellation Fees:
- Until Blue Travel has received your final acceptance on the booking (no more than 7 days from initial booking) = No Fee
- Until 31 days prior to pickup = Your booking deposit
- If cancelled 30 to 10 days prior to pickup = 25% of the rental (min NZD 600)
- If cancelled less than 10 days prior to pickup = 50% of the rental (min NZD 600)
- If cancelled on the day of pick up or no show = 100% of the rental
- Late vehicle collection or early return during the hire = no Refund available
- One-way charges for confirmed one-way bookings: For one way rental cancellations the full one way drop-off charge will be added to the regular cancellation charges.
